Here is some guidance, advice and warnings on how to get the most out of microdosing.
DOSING SCHEDULE
If you want to just take microdoses from time to time without a fixed schedule, that is fine. If you’re an experienced mushroom user, we recommend a dose between 100mg and 200mg for relaxation and enjoyment.
If you are looking for long-term therapeutic benefits, we recommend you take the microdoses on a fixed schedule of 2x a week. Saturday and Tuesday, or whichever two days work best for you.
The reason for this 2x a week schedule is that your body rapidly develops a tolerance to psilocybin. If you were to take it every day, the effect would be diminished and then gone entirely after just a few days.
Some people like to dose for two days in a row and then take two days off. You can feel free to experiment with that if you like.
The main thing is to take breaks of 2 days in duration to avoid building up tolerance.
The best time to take the dose is earlier in the day, between meals. Either before breakfast, or between breakfast and lunch. If you dose too late in the evening it can sometimes disrupt sleep patterns.
I recommend you do an initial 12-16 week regimen and then consider taking a 1-2 week break to see how you feel.
The microdoses should produce a long-term beneficial effect. There is no harm in taking microdoses for a long time if desired and needed. However, most people find over time that the benefits are long-lasting and will choose to reduce their use.
After some months or years of microdosing, you might decide to eliminate use, or reduce to occasional or seasonal use. Microdoses are not addictive. There are no withdrawal symptoms.
DOSING AMOUNT
You’ll spend the first 2-3 weeks adjusting your dosage to find the right level for you.
I suggest you start with a 50mg dose and then work your way up in 25mg increments each dose over the course of 2-3 weeks. Each dose should be 25mg bigger than the last one.
Suggested dosing schedule:
Dose 1: 50mg
Dose 2: 75mg
Dose 3: 100mg
Dose 4: 125mg
Dose 5: 150mg
You do not have to go all the way up to 150mg. Or you can keep increasing after 150mg if you want to.
You can stop at any point if you’re getting the desired effect, or reduce the dosage if you have any unwanted effects.
I find that for the majority of people the optimal dose is usually between 75mg and 150mg.
If you are nervous or feel you are extra sensitive, you might wish to start with a 25mg dose instead of 50mg. However, for most people a 25mg dose is too low to be effective, and 50mg is already on the low end.
I also have capsules of 12.5mg available if you want to adjust the dose in smaller increments.
I do not normally recommend exceeding 250mg per dose. At levels over 250mg we’re getting out of microdose range. However, some people do require higher dosages, and that’s fine. There is no harm in higher doses.
What defines a “microdose” isn’t the specific amount, but rather the effect on the user. One person’s microdose can be bigger than someone else’s.

CAPSULES
We have two kinds of capsules. We blend the dried psilocybin cubensis mushrooms with a neutral base.
The first kind is mushroom blended with spirulina in a regular gelatin capsule.
The second kind is mushroom blended with oat flour in a vegan capsule.
There is no difference in capsules other than personal preference.

PAYMENT
We accept payment by email money transfer. The details are available on the website checkout page. If you do not have access to email money transfer with your bank account, please contact us.
DRIVING AND IMPAIRMENT
A microdose should not be impairing. However, while you are starting your regimen and still finding the right dosage, please exercise caution and do not drive for 3 hours after taking a higher dose, or if you’re feeling impaired.
ANTI-DEPRESSANTS AND INTERACTIONS
Please read below if you are taking anti-depressants, lithium or tramadol.
- Lithium
There is evidence that combining lithium with psilocybin can cause heart problems and potential heart attacks. While the risk is greatly reduced when microdosing, it is recommended not to combine lithium with pslocybin, even at microdose levels.
- Tramadol and Anti-depressants (SMS, SARI, SSRI, SNRI, MAOI)
These drugs affect the serotonin system. Some people report that use of these drugs reduces the effects of psilocybin.
My experience has been that people using these substances need a microdose in the range of 200-300mg to experience benefits.
It is also believed that in extremely rare cases, combining Tramadol or SMS/SARI with psilocybin can possibly lead to “serotonin syndrome.” This is extremely unlikely, but it is good to be aware. Please see this link for more information on serotonin syndrome: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serotonin_syndrome
- NRI/NDRI (Wellbutrin, Zyban, Ritalin, Concerta, etc.)
There are no reports of complications when combining psilocybe with NRI or NDRI. However, we generally recommend reducing the dose of any other psychoactive substances on the days that you are microdosing, if possible.
